Free ClassicPress plugin that allows individual widget instances to have custom CSS classes.
ZP Widget Classes adds a text field to each widget control form on your widget admin page. Enter a CSS class name in the box and it will be added to the classes that ClassicPress applies to that widget instance. To add multiple classes, simply separate them with a space.
It works with the Widget Logic plugin, the Widget Context plugin, the WordPress Page Widgets plugin and the Display Widgets plugin.
It only works with widgets that were created by properly using the official Widgets API. If it appears not to work on a certain widget, that widget probably breaks the API rules somehow.
It has NOT been tested with page builders and may not work if they change the widget system.
ZP Widget Classes is a rebuild for ClassicPress of our now-retired WordPress plugin ZigWidgetClass. Right now ZP Widget Classes also works on WordPress, but future compatibility is not guaranteed.
